Margate House is a boutique hotel with a strong sense of place and personality. Our challenge was to create a brand that captured its warmth, individuality and connection to Margate’s creative community. Rather than relying on familiar seaside cues, we built the idea around a more personal expression of modern coastal hospitality, playful, independent, welcoming and distinctly Margate.

We created a characterful identity and digital experience that reflects the hotel’s distinctive approach to hospitality. The brand continues to evolve through collaborations including a six-colour collection with COAT Paints, inspired by Margate itself. Featured by Condé Nast Traveller, The Times, House & Garden and The Independent, Margate House has become a celebrated part of the town’s creative scene.
